Professional Football Player. Born Joe Nathan McKnight, he played the positions of running back and return specialist for the New York Jets (2010-2012) and Kansas City Chiefs (2014) of the National Football League. He played football collegiately at University of Southern California where he rushed for 2,214 yards and 13 touchdowns before declaring for the NFL Draft after his junior year. He was drafted in the fourth round by the New York Jets in the 2010 NFL Draft and played for them for three years. He was the Jets' top kick returner in 2011 and 2012. He was out of football during the 2013 season, but came back to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014. An Achilles injury forced him away from the field that year. In his four years in the NFL, he had 113 carries for 505 yards, 23 receptions for 241 yards and two touchdowns along with 2,270 kickoff return yards and two touchdowns. He returned to football in the Canadian Football League with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2015 and was playing the 2016 season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. His life ended tragically in a road rage shooting.
