Alyce M. Erickson, 97, of Marinette, WI passed away Monday, December 5, 2016, at Bay Area Medical Center of Marinette. She was born January 7, 1919 in Marinette to Otto and Hilda Malmstadt.

Alyce resided in Marinette all of her life and was a graduate of Marinette High School, Class of 1936.

She married Lennard Liljestrand on October 25, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1977.

She later married Rolfe Erickson on March 25, 1985. He passed away in on June 21, 1997.

Alyce had worked for a number of years as a baker at Schloegel's Restaurant and continued to lead a vigorous lifestyle throughout her retirement. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and sang in the choir for many years. She also was an active musician, playing piano for residents on a regular basis at the Luther Home and the Renaissance. Alyce loved the joy music brought to listeners and also enjoyed being part of a painting class for many years.

Alyce is survived by her children: Tom (Joan) Liljestrand, Jane (Patrick) Sturmer and Kay (John) Carlson;
seven grandchildren: Craig (Gina) Liljestrand, Chris (Christi) Liljestrand, Chad (Brenda) Jones, Robyn (Kris) Zimmerman, Nate (Amy) Carlson, Ross (Jodi) Carlson and Ashley (Eric) Stevenson;
15 great-grandchildren: Cameron, Chase, Caiden, Nicole, Alison, Sarah, Emily Alyce, Alex, Bryan, Aaron, Lyle, Bella, Eli, Noelle and Sam;
a sister, Mavis Ham;
and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Malmstadt.

Friends may call at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Marinette on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 10 until 11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Wendt officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
