Mrs. Jean Manning, 54, died at her home, 1027 Seventh Ave. E., Friday. She was born December 7, 1918, at Chester, a daughter of Timothy and Olga Ness. She had received her early education at Chester and moved to Kalispell in 1933, where she graduated from Flathead High School in 1936. October 5, 1940, she married Lyle Manning in Kalispell and has continued to reside here since that time. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church; the Women's Circle of the church and the Tuesday Study Club.
She is survived by her widower at the family home; one son, Doug, Seattle, Washington; three daughters, Mrs. E.J. (Marcia) Doney, Kalispell; Mrs. Milton (Ellen) Bazar, Victoria, Texas; and Maria Manning at home; four grandchildren; two brothers, Stan Ness, Kalispell; and Robert Ness, Bradford, Penn.; one nephew and several nieces. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Manning will be announced by the Johnson Funeral Home.
