He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Luttie; his wife Ola; sisters, Rosemary and Pat; and brother Mel.
He is survived by his four girls and "sons", Kevin and Tammy Blackwell, Dan and Gwen Taylor, Mark and Tricia Carmicheal, and Charlie and Dawn Mitchell; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; his brothers, Raymond, Jerry, and Phil; sisters, Minnie and Linda; many neices and nephews; great-neices and great-nephews; a large extended family; and friends, including his special iron working buddies.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church of Clovis, 2080 Tollhouse Road, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remebrances be made to Phi Beta Psi Sorority, where donations go to cancer research, C/O Marilyn Pierce, 551 E. Menlo, Fresno, CA 93710; or to the donors favorite charity.
