Joe, Lewis and Clay Gaines, one daughter Mrs. Harold Mills, five grandchildren all of Nashville; two brothers. George Gaines of Red Boiling Springs and Oliver B. Galnes of Newman. Ill; five sisters, Mrs Hattle Rohertson. Mrs. Ada. Kelley, Mrs Maud Howell. Mrs. Dora Botts and Mrs W. R. Splvey all of Nashville. Mr. Gaines was born In Jackson County and later moved to Macon County where he resided until his death He was the son of Joe and Martha Gaines. He has been a prominent building contractor in Tennessee for a number of years. He belonged to the Church of Christ and was a member of the Masonic Order. Funeral arrangements announced later.
