Rites Planned
Steven Craig Sigmon, five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Sigmon, route 7, Statesville, died in a local hospital Thursday night at 9 o'clock after a brief illness.
The child born September 20, 1950, is survived by his parents; three brothers, Jimmy, Ronnie and Henry Allen Sigmon; two sisters, Brenda Kay and Patricia Ann Sigmon, all of the home; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Sigmon, route 1, Statesville, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCoy, route 7, Statesville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Salisbury Road. Rev. A. W. Aull will conduct the service, assisted by Rev. L. M. Allison, Jr. Burial will be in the Mt. Hermon Luther Church.
