This memorial is dedicated to my second great grandmother Lucy Jane Davis.
Lucy was the daughter of Henry Davis and Eleanor Brown.
She was the sister of James, Mary Eleanor, Hannah, Henry, Allow, Joseph David, Frank, Sarah, Eliza, Amanda, Albert and Perry.
Lucy married Thomas J. Moore on October 14, 1856 in Coles county, Illinois.
They were the parents of Hezekiah, James W., Louisa, Angeline and Marion.

I believe that Lucy died shortly after the birth of her daughter Marion. In the 1870 census Lucy is not there and Marion is. I also believe that sometime between 1870 and 1880 that Marion died. I have not been able to locate her in any census
