MABEL HENDEE DIES AT AGE 75
Mrs. Sam R. Hendee, 75, residing at 106 Fifth Avenue East, died in a Kalispell hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Hendee was born Mabel Shellenbarger in Cottage Grove, Minn., June 14, 1884, a daughter of Charles and Lillian Morey Schellenbarger. In 1925 she came to Polson and on Nov. 21, 1930, she was married to Sam R. Hendee in Polson. In May, 1933, they came to Kalispell to make their home and have resided here since.
She is survived by her husband, Sam, at 106 Fifth Avenue East in Kalispell; one son, Donald, in Kennewick, Wash.; one grandson and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Charles Radka in Lambert, Mont.
The body is at the Johnson Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Glen Warner, pastor of the Central Christian Church. Interment will be in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
