Viola Hunt
Viola Mae Hunt, 72, of Burlington, died at 245 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 1997, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Jan. 28, 1925, in West Burlington, she was the daughter of William E. and Anna Josephine Schindall Perkins. On April 19, 1952, she married Perry Nelson Hunt at Methodist Parsonage in Mount Pleasant.
Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker and member of West Burlington United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Sheila Mower of Germantown, Tenn., Cheryl Black of Burlington and Carol Curry of New London; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Karle of West Burlington and Delores Taylor of Milan, Ill.; one brother, William C. Perkins of Tampa, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Thursday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 830 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Hunt will be at 1030 a.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Wolgamuth officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for West Burlington United Methodist Church.
