PHILIP J. MCARDLE, 85, of KEANSBURG, died at home. He was a doorman at the Ritz Tower Hotel, New York City for 12 years, retiring in 1979, and was previously a warehouseman for 15 years for H.J. Heinz, Long Island City. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving with the 15th Army Corps in Italy. He was a member of New York Hotel Trades Union, 32B and 32J, New York City, a communicant of St. Ann's Church and Bayshore Senior Day Center, Keansburg, and a life member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 1953, Keansburg. Born in New York City, he lived in Bronx before moving to Keansburg 27 years ago. Surviving are his wife; two sons; three daughters; and a sister; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grand-children.
