U.S. Congressman. He attended Gettysburg College and Pennsylvania State College. He was employed in the steel industry before engaging in business as a banker. He was elected to the 67th U.S. Congress in 1921 from the 16th District of Ohio from 1921-1923. He was the founder, president and chairman of the Board of Directors of Group Hospitalization, Inc. in Washington, D.C. Elected as President of the Alfalfa Club in 1927. He died in Washington, D.C. in 1960 at the age of 75.
