Naomi Ruth Wagner, 79, passed away February 10, 2007 at her home with her family at her side. She was born July 8, 1927 in Norman, Oklahoma to Alvin and Maude Perry. Ruth was a very loving mother and with her husband raised several foster children along with her own. She enjoyed dancing; one of her favorite dance partners being Ed Sohrt. She loved reading as well as writing poetry. She also took delight in volunteering in several city projects for the building and improvement of city parks.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe E. Wagner.

She is survived by her children Sandra Jo (Tom) Shearer of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ed Wagner of Boerne, Texas, and Leslie Ann Wagner of Corpus Christi, Texas. Also surviving her are six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral services were held Feb. 12 & 13, 2007 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors.

Interment followed at Seaside Memorial Park.
