Cobbtown- Mr. Ranford Coleman, 93. died Thursday at South Fulton Hospital in Atlanta. The Tattnall County native had lived in Atlanta since 1956. He retired in 1975 from Ford Motor Company and was a member of the UAW. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Connors Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Smith Coleman and parents, William Marshall and Maude Coleman. He is survived by a son, Joey R. Coleman of Atlanta; three daughters, Linda Martin of Fayetteville, Judy Smith of Jacksonville, FL, and Cynthia Coleman of Atlanta; two sisters, Helen Robison of Boca Raton, FL and Ann Bryant of Lyons; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, with burial in the Sunlight Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
