Ruth I. Neeley, 91, of Flora, IL, died May 23, 2006, at Hilltop Nursing Home in Charleston, IL.
Mrs. Neeley was born September13, 1914 in Richland Conty, the daughter of Alva and LuElla Barnes Watson. She married Melvin Neeley January 7, 1935 in Olney and he preceded her in death April 6, 1996.
She was a homemaker, a member of Flora Assembly of God, past precident of WCTU in Flora, and a past member of Olney Hound Dog Society. She enjoyed donating her time to church and God.
Survivors include two sons, Addison and Mel"Buddy" Neeley; and eight grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at Frank and Bright Funeral Home in Flora with burial in Clay City Cemetery.
