Raleigh C. Nale, 67, of Clay City died at 3:40 a.m. today February 15, 1974, at Richland Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home, Clay City, where visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Saturday with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Burial will be at Clay City Cemetery.

Born in Wayne County June 10, 1906, he was married to Clara Kendrick who preceded him in death in 1966. April 29, 1967 he was married to the former Merl Mayo who survives.

Serving as director and secretary of the Clay City Building and Loan, he was a member of the Clay City Methodist Church, Oddfellows and Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite of Belleville and Ainad Shrine of East St. Louis.

He is survived by his wife, Merl; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Evelyn Mugrage, Rinard, and Mrs. Lillian Hout, Henderson, Ky.; one stepson, Fred H. Holmes, San Francisco, Cal.; on sister, Mrs. Elary Keiser of Farifield; 12 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren.
