Born April 15, 1945, in Marion, he was the son of the late Ray and Elna Ruth (Gibson) Miley-Hinton. His mother survives in Marion.
On Oct. 19, 1968, in Marion, he married Jackelyn K. (Mulvaine) Miley; she survives in Marion.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was employed in maintenance at General Mills in Martel for 23 years. He attended Abundant Life Assembly of God and member of Marion County Fish & Game.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by a son, Greg E. Miley, Marion; three grandchildren, Michael, Gregie and Jamie and a great-grandchild, McKenzie; a brother, Robert E. (Susan) Miley, Marion; a daughter-in-law, Rita Miley of Marion; and a special friend, Jane Kirkpatrick, Marion. He was preceded in death by a son, Randy L. Miley, a sister, Shirley Miley and stepfather, Elliott Hinton.
