He was united in marriage to Maggie ( Herdes ) Henderson, Dec. 2, 1903. To this union were born seven children, four of whom survive, two sons, Eugene and George Elmo of Clay City, and two daughters, Mae Dobbs of Cisne, and Blanche Staley of Fairfield.
He also leaves his wife, Maggie; one sister, Dora Trotter, Beardstown, Ill.; one brother, Francis M. Henderson of Clay City; 21 grandchildren and 26 great-granchildren.
Charles Henderson's mother is Sarah ( Church ) Henderson, Charles's father is Wiley Henderson, Wiley is buried at Madden Cemetery. I think Maggie is his wife. I believe Maggie's maiden name is Herdes . The R. in his name is for Richard
