Born in Harrisonburg, Va., the daughter of Margaret Supinger Bricker of Lancaster and the late Owen Bricker, Louise Mumper, 70, of 301 E. Oak St., Elizabethtown, died Thursday at Masonic Health Care Center in Elizabethtown, following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Mumper was a secretary for the former Klein Chocolate Co., Elizabethtown, Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, and the late Gen. Daniel Strickler, Lancaster. She also had been a part-time secretary for the former Mumper's Dairy, Elizabethtown. For several years, she was the Welcome Wagon hostess for both the Elizabethtown and Mount Joy areas.
A graduate of Elizabethtown High School, Louise attended Hershey Evangelical Free Church and was a former member of Mount Calvary Church, Elizabethtown, where she had been a leader for Pioneer Girls. A licensed pilot, she enjoyed flying and boating with her husband. She soloed in flying in 1968.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dale Warren Mumper, of Elizabethtown, PA.; Daughter, Linda M. (Dennis) O'Connor of Elizabethtown; Three grandchildren, Jason A. O'Connor, Eric M. O'Connor, Mallory J. O'Connor.
