Oldest son of Abraham and Mary Logan Stewart. Born on November 7th,1883 in Gillespie,PA. His siblings include Maria,Clyde,William,Elizabeth,Thomas,Abraham,Edward,Margaret, and Mary. Joseph married Sylvia May Fralick on December 24th,1913 in Seattle, Washington. Their son Clyde Edward was born on August28th,1917 in Gallup, New Mexico.The family later moved to the Jerome,AZ area where Sylvia died on April 1st,1918. After Sylvia's death,Joseph took his son back to his home state, and continued mining. About 1929, he married Jean Young, and in the 1960's they retired to Tampa,Fl. Jean died in May of 1970,and Joseph died 6 months later in November. Joseph left his son Clyde Edward (Margaret),and his Granddaughter Martha of Warren,OH.
