Jackson - Services for Patrick Henry Cessna, 71, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Utica. Mr. Cessna died at the VA Medical Center in Jackson after a long illness.
Rev. Earnest Pugh will officiate, assisted by Rev. John Ed Snell. Burial will be in the Utica Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers. Glenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born and reared in Utica, Mr. Cessna had been making his home in Jackson for the past several years. He was retired from the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW and Utica Christian Church.
He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Mary Ford of Utica, Mrs. Ruby Leach of Terry, Mrs. Carrie Beaube of Dentville, and Mrs. Alice Bell Ferrell of Steele, MO; and four brothers, Shelby Cessna of Vicksburg, Francis Cessna, Eugene Cessna and Culbert Cessna, all of Utica.
