He was the father of three sons, Wendell, Robert and Donald; three daughters, Mrs. George (Ada Mae) Moran, Mrs. Bob (Vera Lou) Huddleston and Mrs. Thelma Hickey. He was brother to Vernie Allen, Evertt Jones and Mrs. Ida Mae Laws. Another brother, Earl, died in infancy.
