Roxanna F. "Punkin" Sammons, 20, of Wichita and formerly of El Dorado, died Wednesday, May 14, 1986 of injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home Capel. Burial will follw the services in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
Roxanna was born in El Dorado, Dec. 8, 1965, the daughter of Frank and Rosa Wrightsman Sammons. She attended Skelly School and the El Dorado Junior High and graduated from Campus High School in Wichita. She was employed by the Law Offices as a legal secretary. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She had a love for fishing and camping.
Survivors include her parents, Hank and Rosa Pursell of El Dorado, and Frank and Sandy Sammons of Haysville, brothers, Bill Sammons of Andover, Paul Sammons of Haysville, Steve and Bob Pursell, both of El Dorado, and Terry Pursell of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Dottie White of El Dorado and Christi and Shawna Sammons, both of Haysville, and grandparents, Clinton and Wanetta Sammons ofEl Dorado, Clay and Harriet Burnham of Shell Knob, Mo., and Mary Lou Fletcher of Wichita.
A memorial has been established with the Wesley Medical Endowment Association designated for brain-damaged children. Contributions can be sent to the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
