A list of burials from an Wayne Co. Ecology Project done in the spring and summer of 1976 indicates that of the 14 stones found at that time, none have the name of Johnson. Additional information says no one has been buried in the cemetery since 1874 (sic). Also, a complete list of the burials in New York Cemetery [near Millerton] was searched. While Medora was not found, there was a listing for Joel, Sarah, Mary and Susan. The funeral home mentioned in the obits apparently is no longer in business.
