In 1920 became the president of the Omaha Retail Grocers Association, and in 1934-1935 was a member of the executive committee of the Chamber of Commerce. He was also chairman of the camp property of the Boy Scouts of America at Fremont and a president of the Nebraska Humane Society. Lived at 671 N 57th Street.
