They lived in Clay Center until 1902 when they moved to Lawernce, Kansas where they made their home until 1915 when they moved to Ellis.
About 1907 Mr. Cole bought what is known as the Cole ranch north of Ellis and until the family moved here in 1915, Mr. Cole divided his time between it and his home in Lawrence.
To the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cole there came five children: Bessie who died in infancy; Mrs. Alma Konantz of Ft. Scott, Kansas; Mrs. Mildred Davis of Liberal, Kansas; Mrs. Gladys Howard of Ft. Scott, Kansas; Mr Floyd Cole of Ellis.
There remain also to mourn her loss six grandchildren and one brother John Campbell of Chandron, Nebraska, and all of the numerous friends that she made during her lifetime.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church; Eastern Star, Cosmos Club and past President of the ladies Circle of the G.A.R. all in Lawrence, Kansas.
She died at Los Angeles, Calif., very suddenly on October 5th 1929.
Funeral services were held at Congregational Church Sunday.
