Leroy Snow was the son of Wiley & Katherine (Scott) Snow.
He was the husband of Clara b. (Pruitt) Snow (Wages)

Together they had five children, Howard J, Edmond, Della C. (b. 1876), David, and Cora Jane. (Two of his children are linked to him on his page)

Leroy donated and deeded part of the land where the Snow Cemetery is now located.

His dad, Wiley was the first person to be buried in what would become the cemetery.

At the time of Wiley's death the land belonged to Wiley and he had told his family that when he died he wanted to be buried out in his pasture under a big Walnut tree. He was.

After the land passed to his son, Leroy, he deeded the acre of land around his dad's grave to become the Snow Cemetery.

The Walnut tree is long gone but Wiley's stone stands watch over so very many of his descendants.
