Costume Designer. Designed costumes for many movies, theater and television shows. Among his credits are the films "The French Connection" and "The Exorcist", and television series "Kojak", "The Defenders", "NYPD" and "The Nurses". His most noted acting role was in Irving Berlin's "This Is the Army". He lived most of his life in New York City; due to illness, he moved back to his hometown of Anderson, South Carolina, where he died in a local nursing home. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
