Newton County News, August 14, 1953:
Mrs. Tilda Jane Taylor, aged 84 years, who died Tuesday at 3:15 a.m. at her home in Murray was buried Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Snow Cemetery near Murray.
Mrs. Taylor was born February 9, 1869 at Smithville, Tennessee, the daughter of Catherine Scott and Wylie Snow. She is survived by five sons, Ernest Taylor, Otis Taylor of Murray, William Taylor of Wayton, Roy Taylor of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Wilburn Taylor of Linnell, California. Two daughters also survive Mrs. Lissie Hicks of Wayton and Mrs. Norah Murray of Murray. Thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Tilda Taylor was the daughter of Wiley & Katherine (Scott) Snow.
She was the wife Ice J. Taylor.
