He lived most of his life in Franklin County before moving to Hastings in 1965.
Harvey united in marriage to Lula J. Stethem February 14, 1923. They were blessed with seven children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lulu, one grandson, three brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his children: Wayne of St. Paul, Caroll, LaVaughn and Margie of Hastings, Jane of Lincoln, Lee of Minden and Jeanette of Red Cloud; 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Art of Riverton, Frank of Seward; one sister, Della Jackson of Riverton and host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Hutchins Funeral Home Sunday, October 26, 1975, 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Harold M. Onwiler, officiating.
George Kleen, soloist was accompanied by Alma Husiman, organist.
Casket bearers were grandsons, Merle and Dean Gobel, Nick, Rick and Tim Reams, Gene Schriner, Jim and Willie Tuma.
Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Franklin
