Mary Drake Carothers Wilburn Anderson, 85, of Dugger, passed away at 7:25PM Saturday July 7, 2007 at her residence.
She was born in Muhlenburg Co. Kentucky July 19, 1921 to Andrew Drake and Elizabeth Pendley Drake.
She was preceded in death by Garland C. Carothers Sr., her second husband William Ernest Wilburn, 4 brothers; J.W. Drake, Rusaw Drake, Floyd F. Drake, and A.P. Drake, 1 sister; Pansy McBroom.
She is survived by her husband Arnett B. Anderson of Dugger, two sons; Garland C. Carothers Jr. of Winterhaven, Fl., and Harold T. Carothers of Lewisburg, Tenn., one sister Dola Mallory of Madisonville, Ky., 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:00PM Monday July 9, 2007 at the Dugger Cemetery. Friends may call at Newkirk's Funeral Home from 11:00AM until 1:30PM Monday.
