QUITMAN - Services for Omie B. Byrd, 93, Quitman, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church, Quitman, with the Rev. Ken Otwell officiating.

Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba, under direction of Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman.

Mrs. Byrd died July 10, 2007, in Quitman.

She was born March 14, 1914, in Wilson, Okla., and lived in McCloud, Okla., prior to moving to Quitman two years ago. She was a homemaker and member of Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen W. Byrd in 1982, and grandson, Michael Ray Locke in 1980.

Survivors include sons, L. Rayford Locke and Alfred Combs, both of Alba; daughter, Wanda M. Voss, McCloud, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Doug Henderson, Sam Mercer, Carl Parmenter, Arlon Ragsdale, Larry Snider and J.D. Williams.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
