Artist, Illustrator. Born Jos Paul Marie Van den Abeele, he was a Belgian postmodern painter and graphic artist who was best known for his landscapes in the Flemish Ardennes. He studied at the Royal Academy of Drawing, Painting and Architecture in Oudenaarde, Belgium and also studied art history and style studies in Tournai and Ghent He was an illustrator of several books published by Drukkerij-Uitgeverij Sanderus, where he worked professionally as a typesetter, but mainly as a graphic designer and designer of posters and labels. His art has been exhibited at numerous locations throughout Belgium and Europe.
