EFFIE LAYMON SUCCUMBS

Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Bell Laymon, 83, Rt. 2, Walton, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Fisher Funeral Home.

She died at 5:55 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.

Born Sept. 20, 1892, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Grandville and Mary Loser Kesling. She was married on May 13, 1946, in Miami County to Marvin Laymon, who survives.

She was a member of the Onward Christian Church.

Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Winters, Indianapolis; a son, William Morris, Onward; a step-daughter, Mrs. Katherine Wolf, Ft. Myers, Fla.; a step-son, Robert Laymon, Walton; a sister, Elsie Kesling, Logansport; a brother, Dr. Harold Kesling, LaPorte; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 25 step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

A step-daughter preceded her in death.

The Rev. Robert Kellerns and the Rev. Larry Walden will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Onward Cemetery.

Friends may call after noon today. Onward Grange memorial services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
