A funeral for Bob D. Bell of Sheridan will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Adamson's Sheridan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joel Boyce officiating.

An interment service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.

Mr. Bell died April 8, 2002, in Sheridan. He was 74.

He was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Baker.

He served in the Marine Corps from 1945 to 1958, then moved back to Oregon. He worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. He was a longtime resident of Sheridan.

Survivors include four sons, Dan Bell of Central Point, Earl Bell of Colton, Kenny Martin of Keizer and Kevin Bell of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a daughter, Trudy Bent of Patoka Lake, Ind.; a longtime companion, Freda Carroll of Sheridan; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
