Lucinda came to Kansas following the deaths of three of their children: Margaret (1845), Samuel (1846), and William (1853), and after her husband John died in 1863. All four are buried in Deck Cemetery in Darlington, Montgomery County, Indiana. Her parents are buried there as well.

Lucinda's remaining children moved to Kansas and Oklahoma.

Her son Jacob and his wife Mary moved to Kansas in 1883, first settling in Sumner County. Jacob lived there about four years and then gathered together his possessions and moved on to settle near Haskell, Kansas.

Elizabeth Jane and her husband Levi Uhler came to Clearwater in 1884, raising their family and remaining in Clearwater for the rest of their lives.

Catherine Perline and her husband William Uhler settled in Sumner County near Clearwater sometime after 1892. They spent the rest of their lives in Kansas.

Irenus and his wife Sarah Ann Uhler moved to Enid, Oklahoma and raised a family there.

Three of her Snavely children married Uhler family members. Brothers Levi and William and Sarah Ann.

Buried next to Lucinda is Herbert C. Snavely (b. Jul. 16, 1879-1886 Sumner Co., KS), is her grandson. Irenus and Sarah Ann Uhler Snavely's son.
