O. F. Cowhick, head of the Cowhick Dry Goods Company, is reported to be critically ill at his home on E. 18th St. His daughter, Miss Marcia, has arrived from Boston where she has been attending college.

A resident of Cheyenne since 1876—he twice built up the largest dry goods business in Wyoming—a widow, daughter, brother (D.R.), and three sisters survive him

Died 2 April of anemia (Gravestone is marked March 31).
Born in Ohio March 13, 1840.

A man of reserved disposition, and though several times nominated for public office as often declined, preferring to give his attention entirely to business.

Surviving brother: D. R. (Dallas) Cowhick, Cheyenne Surviving sisters:
Mrs. Elizabeth Parmales of Milwaukee, WI; Mrs. Mary Wanamaker of Edgerton, OH, and Miss Lilla Thorpe of Farmer, OH
