Glenna Marie Rush Brown, 72, of 614 Forest Park Middletown, RI, died Monday, October 27, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Exeter, ME on December 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Elden and Bernice White Rush. Mrs. Brown was a Computer Operator with the US Naval Underwater Systems Center in Newport, RI until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens Center and had been a Bingo Caller in Middletown when she wasnt playing Bingo. As a young mother she enjoyed cooking and sewing clothes for her family. Glenna also enjoyed doing a good crossword puzzle or reading a good book. She is survived by three daughters Diane Brown of Oak Park, IL, Trudy Brown of New Brunswick, CANADA, and Judy Domareck of Woodbury, CT, her brother Alan Rush of Dover Foxcroft, ME, two sisters Claire Green of Brunswick, GA, and Lois Jordan of Meredith, NH, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2003, at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be held in the Foster Cemetery, Monticello, ME.
