MINGO JUNCTION - Herbert Devore, 56, of Tarr Hill RD 1, Mingo Junction, an ore bridge operator at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., died Friday at 5:45 a.m. at Ohio Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was a Protestant by faith.
He was born May 16, 1929, in Mingo Junction, a son of the late James and Katherine Snyder Devore. He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Odell, who died within the past five years.
Friends may call at the Blaschalk Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.Sunday; services there Monday at 11 a.m.; the Rev. Jack Jackson; New Alexandria Cemetery.
