Maud Morgan Stevens, 85, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Rankin Medical Center in Brandon. Visitation is 10 a.m. Saturday at Star Baptist Church. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial in Star Cemetery. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is handling arrangements.

Maud was a native of Rankin County and a longtime resident of Star. She was a member of Star Baptist Church and was a retired LPN. She had worked at Dallas Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas and the University Medical Center in Jackson. After leaving the University Hospital, she continued nursing as a private duty nurse for a number of years.

Her survivors include her daughter, Sharon Webb and her husband Greg of Bedford, Texas; sons, Wesley Stevens and his wife Linda of Dallas, Texas and Ed Stevens and his wife Diana of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Lillie M. Sellers of Jackson, Vera Stevens of Mineola, Texas and Cleo Brady of Dallas, Texas; brother, Dr. Marvin Morgan of Ocean Springs; grandchildren, Allen, Angie, Amanda and Jessica Stevens, Steven Dellinger Pate and Cindy Brayton; great granddaughter, Grace Dellinger Pate; sister-in-law; Dorothy Morgan of Star; 18 nieces and nephews and a large number of great nieces and nephews. Maud was preceded in death by her infant son, Leonard Stevens, III; parents, John Wesley and Alma Morgan; sisters, Florence Bowen, Marie King, Ventrice Dabbs Riley, Mavis Morgan and Louise Morgan; brother, John Davis Morgan.

Memorials may be made to Star Baptist Church or the donor's favorite choice.
