She was born March 16, 1916, in Perry Township, a daughter of Casby and Mae Fox Johnson.
She lived her early life in Perry Township and resided in Waynesburg since 1946. She was a 1933 graduate of Mt. Morris High School.
A houswife, she was a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church. She was the first president of the Waynesburg Volunteer FIre Co. Auxiliary.
On June 3, 1935, she married Francis Fox, Jr., who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Arnold Fox of Waynesburg R. D. 4; a granddaughter, Kathy; two grandsons, Mark and Johnny; three great-grandsons, Andrew, Joshua and Justin; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Dora) Henry of Hancock, Md.; and two brothers, Isaac Johnson and Billy C. Johnson, both of Mt. Morris R.D. 1.
Deceased are a son, Lewis Fox; a sister, Addie M. Dulaney; and a brother, Paul Johnson.
