Magician, radio show host, and hypnotherapist. He began his career in the entertainment business at the age of 15 when he won the Horace Heidt Talent show. After a stint in the United States Navy, he moved to Boston. He became the owner of "Holden's Magic Studio" and often appeared on Boston television on the "Larry Glick Show." With his wife as his assistant, he traveled for many years as the magician "Mr. Mystery." He was especially interested in extrasensory perception (ESP) and recorded an album on the topic. For many years, on the radio station WADS, he hosted a local program "Especially Yours." He held memberships in the Society of American Magicians, American Guild of Variety Artists, American Federation of Radio and Television Artists, American Guild of Professional Entertainers, and the Screen Actors Guild. He was an Honorary Member of The Inner Magic Circle of London, England and was awarded membership in the Order of Merlin International Brotherhood of Magicians. Gann also entertained on the Playboy Circuit and for several cruise lines. He was a hypnotherapist for twenty-two years.
