ELLIS, Evelyn Smiley - Age 85 of Nashville. September 5, 2007. Preceded in death by parents, Henderson and [Ethel B.] Hall Smiley; husband, Robert [Elroy] Ellis. Survived by son, Thomas Ellis; daughters, Gay Ellis Hurst and Joyce Ellis Bridges; brothers, Herman, Henderson and Leland Smiley; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Friday, at Jackson Park Church of Christ and one hour prior to service. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Jackson Park Church of Christ, with Bro. Jim Davis officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Active Pallbearers: family and friends. The family wants to thank the staff of Jackson Park Christian Home for their support, care and love for the past 11 years.
