Lester C, Adams Dies at Hospital
Lester C. Adams, 67, of Rt. 5,died at 7:10 p.m. Monday at
Memorial Hospital.
Born in Cass county Oct. 10,1897, he was the son of James
and Jennie E. Shell Adams. A security guard at France
Stone Co., he was a member of Miami Baptist Church.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the American
Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
His marriage in Kokomo on Feb. 4, 1918, was to Alice P.
Schreese.
Survivors are his wife: two sons, William R. of Rt. 5 and
James Paul in the Army, stationed in New Jersey; a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Rohrabaugh of Rt. 5; 12 grandchildren.
Also surviving are five sisters,Mrs. Ruhl Harmon of 522 Shultz St., Mrs. Mary M. Jones of 330 Riverview St., Mrs. Genevieve Hupp of Auburn Heights, Mich.,Mrs. Evelyn Bauch of 2101 Usher St.. and Mrs. Mae Heck of New Waverly, and a brother,Joseph C. Adams of Northfield,Mich.
