Lillie Helen Johnson, 84, of Springfield, formerly of Peoria, died at 2:25 p.m. Thursday at Walnut Ridge Healthcare. She was born in Peoria on Dec. 7, 1907, the daughter of Isador and Marie Schaetzel. She married John W. Johnson in 1926. He died in 1982.
Mrs. Johnson had been a resident of Springfield since 1982, and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter and a son; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
