Betty was the daughter of Yates "Betsy" and Willow Mae (Bumgarner) Huffman. She married Billy 'Joe' Moose and they had one daughter: Sherron.

MAIDEN — Betty Huffman Moose, 70, of 319 Island Ford Road, died March 1, 2005, at Frye Regional Hospital.
She was born May 28, 1934, in Catawba County, daughter of Willow Mae Bumgarner Huffman of Maiden and the late Yates "Betsy" Huffman.
FUNERAL: 4 p.m. Friday, East Maiden Baptist Church, body will be placed in church 30 minutes before service
INTERMENT: Maiden City Cemetery
VISITATION: 6:30-8 tonight, Goodin-Drum Funeral Home
