She married John G. Roberts June 12, 1923 and was foremost a wife and mother. She and John were living in Peyton Colorado when son, Cecil Herbert was born in 1924. In April 1927 a daughter, Leona Letetia was born and unfortunately lived just less than two years. By 1934 they were in Penrose CO when daughter, Norma Faye was born.
John farmed most of his adult life and while they were living in Colorado Springs, Eva worked at the United Printers Home in the kitchen serving meals to the residents. In the late 1950s she cleaned house for several military families and in later years did ironing for people in her home. She had a big garden and raised beautiful roses as well as other flowers.
