He was born Dec. 10, 1912, in Greenup, the son of the late Clarence and Flossie Hurst Ozier. He retired in 1976 from the Illinois Department of Public Health after 33 years service as a state deputy registrar.
Mr. Ozier was a member of the Douglas Avenue United Methodist Church; Masonic Lodge; Illinois Department of Public Health Quarter Century Club; and a life member of the United Methodist Men's Club.
Surviving are his wife, Maye; two sons; six daughters; 23 grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Eugene of Charleston; several nieces and nephews.
Services at Douglas Avenue United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Robert McDonald officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
