This was in the 100 years ago column of today's Lawrence Journal-World:
"Mrs. S. J. Churchill died at 5 o'clock last night. She was sitting in a chair talking with a neighbor when her head fell forward and she was dead. Mrs. Churchill had
been sick a long time but the last two days was feeling better. She went to Colorado to benefit her health but the climate did not agree with her and she came home. She probably
knew that the end was not far off but her sweet Christian life left her no fear and she went to her long home with a smile on her lips."
