Charles Edward Bass, son of Edward Bass of Mineral Ridge, died at his home in Yell Township, at 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, after several weeks illness with typhoid fever. The funeral will be held at 1:00 o'clock this afternoon, from the Baptist church at Ridgeport and the remains will be laid to rest in the Mineral Ridge cemetery beside those of his mother who died about a year ago. Deceased was born in Boone County and has lived here practically all his life. He was in his thirty first year at the time of his death. He leaves a father, five brothers and four sisters to mourn his untimely death. The stricken family have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
