Anna Katherine Weaver Hultz 90, of Cañon City, died Nov. 7, 2007, at Hildebrand Care Center in Cañon City. She was born June 3, 1917, to Albert and Marie (Uphoff) Robidoux, in Slater. She attended school in Glenwood Springs. She married Lonnie Weaver Dec. 21, 1935, in Glenwood Springs. They moved to Hayden, where they farmed for 38 years before Lonnie's death, and raised their four children. She then married Commie Hultz. She moved to Cañon City after his death where she lived for eight years.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Rickerby, of Cedaredge and Helen Slate, of Cañon City; nine grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Louise Long, of Cody, Wyo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two sons, Lyle Weaver and Charles Weaver; one brother-in-law, Glen Long; and one niece, Peggy Long Pollard.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov, 10, 2007, at the Hayden Cemetery. Arrangements were handled through Wilson Funeral Home.

Anna Katherine Weaver Hultz, former resident of Hayden and Craig, died Nov. 7, 2007, at the Hildebrand Care Center in Canon City at the age of 90. Anna Katherine was born June 3, 1917, to Albert and Marie (Uphoff) Robidoux in Slater. She attended school in Glenwood Springs where she met and married Lonnie 'Hap' Weaver on Dec. 21, 1935. They moved to Hayden and farmed on Stokes Gulch for 38 years. To this union four children were born.

Lonnie died in 1973 and Katherine moved to town to be closer to the activities she enjoyed. She enjoyed the quilting group, the Congregational Church activities and was very active in the church. Katherine was a member of the Rebekah lodge and loved helping out with the rummage sales and dinners. In 1982, she married Commie Hultz. They enjoyed traveling and retirement until his death in 1997. She moved to Canon City and has lived there for the past 8 years.

Katherine is survived by one sister, Louise Long of Cody, Wyo; two daughters Mary (Dean) Rickerby of Cedaredge, and Helen (Larry) Slate of Canon City; and stepdaughter Callie Searle of Montrose. She was blessed to have 14 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Lonnie Weaver and Commie Hultz, two sons Lyle and Charles, brother-in-law Glen Long, niece Peggy Long Pollard, son-in-law Ray Searle, and step-grandson Tyree Carr.
Graveside services were held Nov. 10, 2007, at the Hayden Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hayden Congregational Church.
